Loadout Planner for BODYCAM
Every Cash attachment at the bench, prices from the May 2026 update, and the one grip worth buying on day one.
The BODYCAM loadout bench arrived around May 2026. It sells attachments for Cash — grips, sights, lasers, and magazines — and it sits in the safehouse between Operations. The game does not show you a comparison view; you find out what a grip does only after you buy it. This planner fixes that gap.
All prices below are from the May 2026 sneak peek shown by Quantum Studios EU. Live prices in your safehouse may differ slightly. This planner will be updated if prices change with a patch.
Attachment types at the bench
The bench splits into five slots. Each slot accepts one equipped item at a time. Swapping a grip does not refund the old one — choose before you commit.
Grips — front rail
| Attachment | Price (Cash) | Effect | Worth it on day one? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vertical grip | $150 | Reduces recoil | Yes — on any rifle |
| Angled grip | $100 | Slightly faster ADS | Yes — on SMGs |
| Combat grip | $200 | Reduces recoil + faster ADS | Only if you have $200 spare after essentials |
The vertical grip is the safest first purchase. It reduces recoil on every rifle, and the default rifle is what you spawn with before any gamepass purchase. If you only have 750 Cash from codes, the vertical grip at $150 leaves you $600 for a red-dot sight.
Sights — optic rail
| Attachment | Price (Cash) | Effect | Worth it? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Red dot | $250 | Faster target acquisition | Yes — most maps are dark indoors |
| Holographic | $350 | Wider field of view | Only if red dot feels too narrow |
| ACOG scope | $450 | 4x zoom, slower ADS | No — interior maps punish zoom |
| Iron sights (default) | Free | — | Keep until you have $250 to spare |
The red dot is the highest-value optic. House Raid, Apartment Assault, and The Cult all have dark interiors where a dot wins fights faster than iron. The ACOG scope is a trap on interior maps; save it for Harbor Rush rooftop sections if you ever run that Operation on Extreme.
Lasers — under barrel or frame
| Attachment | Price (Cash) | Effect | Worth it? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tactical laser | $200 | Tighter hip-fire spread | Situationally — open maps only |
| Flashlight | $100 | Illuminates dark rooms | Yes — for dark interiors |
Flashlight is not just for dark rooms. It also blinds suspects at close range, which is why experienced officers toggle it (V) on entry and off when they clear the room. The tactical laser is only useful on Harbor Rush cargo zones and the outdoor section of Bank Lockdown.
Magazines — stock slot
| Attachment | Price (Cash) | Effect | Worth it? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Extended mag | $200 | +50% ammo capacity | Only if you run out of ammo on Hard+ |
| Quick-rel mag | $150 | Faster reload | Yes — for any rifle you use often |
The quick-release magazine is the second most-popular purchase after the vertical grip. A faster reload on a default rifle means fewer deaths during the reload animation, which is when officers are most vulnerable.
What to buy first — the day-one sequence
- Vertical grip — $150. Reduces recoil on the default rifle. Immediate improvement.
- Red dot sight — $250. Illuminates targets in dark rooms. Second priority.
- Flashlight — $100. Toggle it on entry, off when room is clear. High value on every interior map.
At 750 Cash from codes, this sequence costs $500 and leaves $250. That $250 buys the quick-release magazine or saves toward the next grip.
What not to buy on day one
- Combat grip ($200). The vertical grip does 80% of the job at 75% of the price.
- Extended mag ($200). You will not run out of default-rifle ammo on House Raid or Apartment Assault.
- Holographic ($350). Wait until you have played on Hard and confirmed the red dot feels too narrow.
- ACOG scope ($450). It belongs to a different playstyle than the default rifle supports.
After the first gamepass
When you buy a named rifle from a gamepass — the SIG MCX from FBI SWAT, the HK416A5 from US Marshal, the M24 from Sniper — check the weapon tier list before you attach Cash items to it. A C-tier named rifle that you will replace in two weeks should not receive a $200 combat grip. An S-tier rifle that you will keep for a month justifies the full upgrade path.
Gamepass guns that cost 299–799 Robux tend to be worth upgrading. The default unnamed rifle is worth the three core purchases above ($500 total) because you keep it as a backup even after a gamepass buy.
Slot priority summary

| 4th | Magazine | Quick-rel mag | $150 |
| 5th | Grip | Combat grip | $200 |

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers officers search before they drop into a raid.
How much Cash do I start with?
Zero. Redeem THXFORWAITING (500 Cash) and FreeCash (250 Cash) in the lobby before your first raid to start with 750 Cash.
Does the vertical grip work on all rifles?
Yes. It reduces recoil on every rifle in the game, including the default unnamed rifle and all named gamepass rifles.
Should I buy the ACOG scope?
Not on interior maps. ACOG zoom is a liability in House Raid, Apartment, and The Cult. It is only useful on Harbor Rush rooftop sections. Start with a red dot.
Do gamepass rifles come with attachments?
Not anymore. The May 2026 loadout update stripped sights from gamepass guns. You buy optics separately at the bench with Cash.
Can I refund attachments?
No. Swapping a grip for a different grip does not refund the old one. Choose before you commit.
