Getting Started

BODYCAM: SWAT Simulator is a free Roblox PvE raid from Quantum Studios EU. You spawn as a SWAT officer with a bodycam HUD — REC in the corner, an AXON BODY 2 overlay, and a live objective list — then you pick an Operation, clear rooms with a squad, and extract. The place went live on 17 February 2024. It runs on PC, mobile, and console. Servers hold 32 players, and the group copy lists play with up to six friends in online co-op.

This page is the first-hour checklist. When the HUD makes sense, move to the controls listing and the how to play loop before you touch Nightmare maps. Steam bodycam shooters are a different game; ignore them here.

What you are actually playing

Every drop is a PvE Operation against AI suspects and, on some maps, mixed civilians. You can cuff or shoot. Reporting evidence at REPORT markers is worth +10 and is part of a clean extract, not a side hobby. If you skip reports you leave Cash and XP on the table. The default kit is enough to learn: a rifle, a secondary, and a flashbang. Equipment keys 1–4 swap those slots. You do not need a gamepass to finish House Raid or Apartment Assault, and a default loadout can even clear The Cult on Nightmare if you rush the bomb.

First five minutes in the lobby

  1. Join the Roblox place and wait for the lobby HUD. Confirm you can see REC, the AXON BODY 2 chrome, and the objective panel.
  2. Redeem codes immediately. Open the bottom-left bird / codes icon and enter THXFORWAITING (500 Cash) and FreeCash (250 Cash). They are case-sensitive. Full steps live on the codes hub and the redeem walkthrough.
  3. Do not buy Robux guns yet. Spend the 750 Cash later on the loadout bench after you read the weapon tier list.
  4. Open the Operation list. Start on House Raid or Apartment Assault. Save Harbor Rush Extreme and The Cult Nightmare until you can clear rooms without emptying the rifle in the first hallway.
  5. If you brought friends, stay in the same server. Online co-op is the intended mode. A 32-player server can hold several squads, but your stack is the six-friend cap from the group text.

How a first raid should feel

Pick the Operation. Load in. The bodycam view is low and physical — you will clip doorframes if you sprint everywhere. Use the official sprint key (Left Shift on PC, R1 on console) only between rooms. Inside a doorway, crouch and lean. The controls page lists those binds from the Roblox description. Aim, shoot, and reload are not published there, so learn them in a safe lobby instead of treating a fan wiki as an official key list.

Clear room by room. If a suspect complies, cuff. If they raise a gun, shoot. Headshots save ammo. After the room is safe, look for REPORT markers and bank the +10. Then push the next objective until extract. That loop is expanded on the how to play guide.

Difficulties you will see later are Hard, Extreme, and Nightmare. First hour: treat House Raid as the classroom. Kitchen doorways and tight halls teach lean and flashlight without a bomb timer. Comedy Takedown is a hostage rescue, so hold fire until you know who is a civilian. Bank Lockdown and Harbor Rush split attention between suspects, civilians, and props such as cargo trucks or comms. The Cult is a bomb map with an eight-minute Nightmare clock — read that walkthrough before you queue it.

HUD and tools you should trust

The overlay is the point of the fantasy. REC tells you the tape is rolling. Objectives update when you cuff, report, or reach extract. Flashlight (V / Square) and laser (Z / Triangle) are on the official list because interiors go dark — House Raid kitchens and The Cult forest both punish a black sight picture. Magazine check is M on PC only. Mobile uses on-screen buttons, has no layout editor, has no mag check, and makes the drone button awkward if you own Drone Operator.

Gamepass extras can wait. Tactical NVG is N / D-pad Down, the drone is J / R3, and the headlight is L. None of those are required for a first extract. If you want a ranked opinion before Robux, use the gamepass tier list and the gear hub.

What to unlock after the first extract

Cash from codes and reports belongs on attachments, not impulse skins. The May 2026 sneak peek showed an angled grip at $100, a vertical grip at $150, and a combat grip at $200; live prices may differ. A rifle was shown near $2975. Buy one cheap grip if the bench still sells those attachments, then go back into House Raid and feel the difference. Full bench notes sit on the loadout page.

XP feeds badges at 1k / 5k / 10k / 25k / 50k / 75k / 100k. Players talk about Chief and Commissioner. The Quantum Studios EU group auto-ranks from your in-game rank. This wiki will not invent a full ladder; the known badges are listed under ranks. Daily quests pay extra Cash, and VIP has exclusive dailies — track both on the daily quests page.

Client extras belong on the scripts page, not in a raid briefing. Patch notes that change sights or benches belong on updates and the latest update. Bookmark official links for the Roblox place and the group.

A simple first-night plan

Run two House Raids focusing on cuffs and reports. Run one Apartment Assault to practice stairs. Redeem both codes if you have not. Buy one cheap grip if the bench still matches the sneak peek. Stop before The Cult. If a friend wants Harbor Rush, stay off Extreme until you have read about the warehouse rooftop drop-down in the maps guide. That peek kills officers who sprint into the warehouse like it is House Raid.

When you are ready for binds, open controls. When you want every Operation named, open maps. When the bomb timer is the problem, open The Cult. Come back to this page only if a new officer is looking over your shoulder — the rest of the Guides Hub is built for the raid you are about to queue.
