How to Play SWAT Raids

BODYCAM: SWAT Simulator is a raid loop, not an open world. You sit in a Roblox lobby, pick an Operation, load into a bodycam view, clear rooms, cuff or shoot, report evidence, and extract. Quantum Studios EU shipped that loop on 17 February 2024 as a free PvE experience on PC, mobile, and console. Servers hold 32 players. The group lists play with up to six friends in online co-op. If you still need HUD literacy, go back to Getting Started. If you still need sprint and lean, open controls. This page is the raid itself.

The loop, start to extract

Lobby. Confirm REC, the AXON BODY 2 overlay, and the objective list. Redeem THXFORWAITING and FreeCash from the bottom-left bird icon if you have not — steps are on the codes hub and how to redeem. Buy nothing until you have finished one House Raid with the default rifle, secondary, and flashbang.

Pick an Operation. The live set is House Raid, Apartment Assault, Safehouse Raid, Club Crash, Comedy Takedown, Bank Lockdown, The Cult, and Harbor Rush. Comedy Takedown is a hostage rescue. The Cult on Nightmare is a bomb under eight minutes. Harbor Rush is a ship and harbor with an Extreme variant. The FBI VC-only place is a separate lobby, not a mission — do not queue it expecting a ninth Operation. Full place notes live on the maps guide.

Clear rooms. Slice doorways. Sprint (Left Shift / R1) only between rooms. Crouch and lean at the jam. Flashlight and laser exist because kitchens, clubs, and forests go dark. If a suspect complies, cuff. If they present a gun, shoot. Headshots save rifle ammo for the extract hallway. Prefer surrenders when the map allows it — The Cult especially rewards that habit.

Report evidence. After the room is safe, look for REPORT markers. Each report is +10. Reports are not optional flavor. They are Cash and XP you came to collect. Officers who farm bodies and skip markers leave the raid poorer. On The Cult Nightmare, do not farm evidence until the bomb is dead — that exception is the whole Cult walkthrough.

Extract. When objectives flip to extract, leave. A dead officer with a full report log still failed the tape. Bring the squad out together on 32-player servers; your friend cap is six. Then spend Cash on the loadout bench or bank it for a grip you actually need.

Difficulties: Hard, Extreme, Nightmare

BODYCAM steps raids through Hard, Extreme, and Nightmare. Hard is the classroom: House Raid and Apartment Assault belong here while you learn cuffs and reports. Extreme adds density and nasty angles — Harbor Rush Extreme is the example everyone quotes, with a warehouse rooftop drop-down enemy that punishes a sprint into the building. Nightmare is a timer and a lighting problem. The Cult Nightmare detonates in under eight minutes. Treat that clock as the primary objective; everything else is after.

Do not skip from a clean House Raid into Nightmare because a friend has gamepasses. Default kit clears The Cult if you rush the bomb. Gamepasses are optional spice. Rank them on the gamepass tier list after you can extract without them.

Cuff versus shoot

Cuffs are the SWAT fantasy and the ammo saver. A surrendered suspect is one less mag you burn before extract. Shoot when the gun is already up, when a hostage is in the cone, or when a dark silhouette on a lit wall is holding. Headshots matter on Nightmare because body shots waste the clock. Sidearm at close range keeps the rifle for longer hallways — that split is how Cult runners stay alive in the forest.

Comedy Takedown is the map that trains trigger discipline. It is a hostage rescue. Dumping the room is a failed rescue even if you extract. Club Crash and Bank Lockdown mix civilians into gunfights for the same reason. Harbor Rush asks you to secure suspects and civilians and a cargo truck. Read the objective list on the HUD; do not invent a deathmatch.

Evidence, Cash, and why the first raid funds the bench

REPORT markers are the reliable Cash loop alongside daily quests. Codes are a one-time bump. Quests and VIP exclusive dailies repeat. XP from raids and reports feeds badges at 1k / 5k / 10k / 25k / 50k / 75k / 100k, which sit next to player talk of Chief and Commissioner and the group auto-rank. Details belong on ranks — this page will not invent a ladder.

Spend after you understand the loop. A $100 angled grip from the May 2026 sneak peek (live prices may differ) is a better first buy than a Robux rifle you cannot reload under stress. Weapon names and prices live on weapons and the weapon tier list. Patch notes that strip sights from gamepass guns belong on updates.

Squad habits that actually help

Call rooms. One officer watches the jam while another cuffs. One officer hits REPORT while another holds the next door. On Harbor Rush, split truck / comms / hostages instead of stacking the same container. On The Cult, the whole stack runs bomb first — nobody peels for evidence. Flashbangs are slot 3 or 4 in the default kit; use them on stacked rooms, not on empty kitchens.

Voice is your problem, not the game’s. The FBI VC-only place is a voice lobby, not a substitute Operation. Play the mission list from the maps page if you came to raid. Client extras sit on scripts. Official place and group links sit on official links.

A practical session plan

Warm up on House Raid: two rooms, two reports, one extract, no hero sprint. Apartment Assault next for stairs. Safehouse Raid or Club Crash when you want a denser interior. Comedy Takedown when you need hostage practice. Bank Lockdown when you can split attention. Harbor Rush when you can track truck, comms, traps, and hostages without dropping the civilian task. The Cult last, with the Cult guide open on a second screen the first time.

If the session is for Cash, run dailies first, then a short Operation, then the bench. If the session is for a badge, stay on maps you can finish; a failed Nightmare does not pay like three clean House Raids. When binds fight you, return to controls. When the lobby board adds a place, return to the Guides Hub and the maps list. Play the Roblox raid. Extract with the tape still rolling.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers officers search before they drop into a raid.

What is the BODYCAM gameplay loop?

Lobby, pick an Operation, clear rooms, cuff or shoot, report evidence at REPORT markers for +10, then extract. Details for each place are on the maps guide.

What difficulties exist?

Hard, Extreme, and Nightmare. Harbor Rush has an Extreme variant with a warehouse rooftop drop-down. The Cult Nightmare is a bomb under eight minutes.

Should I always shoot suspects?

No. Prefer cuffs when they surrender. Shoot when a gun is up or a hostage is at risk. Comedy Takedown is a hostage rescue — trigger discipline is the mission.

Is the FBI VC-only place a mission?

No. It is a separate voice lobby, not an Operation. Queue House Raid through Harbor Rush from the mission board instead.

How do I earn Cash during a raid?

Report evidence (+10 per marker), finish extracts, redeem codes, and complete daily quests. Spend it on the loadout bench.

Can I play BODYCAM solo?

Yes. It is online PvE, so bots and other officers can be on the 32-player server, but you can run Operations without a six-friend stack. Co-op still helps on Extreme and Nightmare.
