BODYCAM: SWAT Simulator tracks progression with Roblox badges tied to XP and mission events, not with a public twelve-step police ladder. This page lists the badges we can document, the 100,000 XP rarity note, and what players say about Chief, Commissioner, and the May 2026 group auto-rank. It does not invent Officer, Sergeant, and Lieutenant rows that Quantum Studios EU has not published on the game page.
BODYCAM is free PvE co-op on Roblox (17 February 2024), 32-player servers, up to six friends. XP comes from Operations, daily quests, and VIP’s 2x XP if you own that pass. Gear that changes how fast you farm sits on the gear hub, weapon loadouts, and the gamepass shop. Fan combat ranks are on the tier list hub, weapon rankings, and gamepass rankings.
XP badges
These XP thresholds award badges:
- 1,000 XP — first documented XP badge, reachable after a few House or Apartment clears if you report evidence instead of leaking.
- 5,000 XP — the point where Cash from raids plus THXFORWAITING and FreeCash should already be on your loadout bench.
- 10,000 XP — enough time in Club, Comedy, and Bank to know whether you want Marshal or FBI.
- 25,000 XP — long-map hours. Harbor Rush and Cult Nightmare start to show up on the same account.
- 50,000 XP — veteran badge. Most officers who own Extra primary or VIP are somewhere around here if they play weekly.
- 75,000 XP — rare enough that you will notice the badge on a username in a 32-player server.
- 100,000 XP — awarded only about 408 times. Treat anyone wearing it as a long-term farmer, not as a lucky code redeem.
VIP (599) doubles XP and Cash and adds exclusive dailies. Double XP (119) is the cheaper multiplier if you skip the rest of VIP. Neither badge-grinds for you while you AFK in the lobby.
Join and event badges
G’Day Officer. The join badge. Welcome text tells you to stay safe on the line of duty. Almost every account that loads the experience gets it.
Mission Completed. Awarded when an Operation actually extracts. If you fail The Cult bomb window, you do not get to pretend this badge is a participation sticker — finish the route on The Cult and the maps walkthrough.
Suspect Neutralized. Combat badge. Cuffing still matters on maps that allow it; this badge tracks the other ending.
Officer Down. You or a teammate hit the fail state. Wear it as a warning to buy Medic (199) or Stormer (149), not as a flex.
You met the Owner. Only if you share a server with the owner. Extremely rare in normal matchmaking; do not camp 32-player servers hoping for it.
Beta Access. Closed-circle badge from BODYCAM’s beta. New accounts in 2026 should not expect it.
Chief, Commissioner, and group auto-rank
Players mention Chief and Commissioner as high titles. Around May 2026 the Quantum Studios EU group added auto-rank from in-game rank. That means the Roblox group rank can follow whatever rank the experience already stores — it is not a second grind we can itemize as “play 10 hours, skip Sergeant, become Lieutenant.”
This wiki stops there on purpose. A full Officer → Sergeant → Lieutenant → Captain table would be fan fiction. If Quantum publishes a public ladder, it will land on the latest update page and then here. Until then, chase the XP badges above and ignore YouTube thumbnails that overlay a military hierarchy the shop does not sell.
How to farm XP without wasting Robux
- Finish Getting Started and how to play so you stop dying before the report step.
- Redeem codes with the code redeem steps.
- Run daily quests every login.
- Put Cash on attachments so the unnamed rifle survives Club and Bank.
- Add VIP only if you will be here for 50,000 XP, not for one Harbor drop.
- Learn controls on PC, mobile, and console — missed lean keys are missed XP.
Pay-to-win arguments after loadout are about guns, not about the 100,000 XP badge. Sights stripped from gamepass rifles do not grant bonus XP. K9 (499) and Non-Lethal (still PRE ORDER at 399) do not replace dailies.
Keep official links, the guides hub, updates hub, and scripts nearby. Badge counts can tick up; the 408 figure for 100,000 XP is a snapshot, not a promise that the next officer in your squad has it. If a teammate claims Commissioner, ask whether they mean the group auto-rank or a screenshot overlay — only the first one is a BODYCAM system.

VIP gives 2x XP, 2x Cash, exclusive dailies, and a golden rifle skin. You still have to finish Operations and daily quests to hit 50,000 or 100,000 XP.
Can I get You met the Owner on purpose?
Only by sharing a server with the owner. It is not a mission reward and not tied to 100,000 XP. Do not treat it as a grind goal.
