Bodycam Zombies Tier List

This page ranks weapons and equipment for Bodycam Zombies mode, the round-based co-op survival experience on the Asylum and Village maps. Zombies mode has fundamentally different priorities from PvP: ammo economy matters more, reload speed during horde waves is life or death, and the crossbow’s silence is worth more than its slow cycle time.

How This List Differs From PvP Rankings

In PvP, first-shot accuracy and one-shot reliability are the primary metrics. In Zombies, the priorities shift:

• Ammo economy: you cannot buy ammo mid-round. Magazine capacity and reload behavior directly determines how long you can survive a horde wave.
• Horde management: Zombies approach in groups. Weapons that can eliminate multiple zombies quickly are more valuable than single-target damage.
• Noise discipline: attracting additional zombies during a critical moment can wipe a squad. Weapons that let you stay quiet are more valuable.
• Boss damage: boss fights require sustained fire from multiple players.

ARs — S and A Tier in Zombies

Assault Rifles remain the most practical weapon class for Zombies. They offer the best balance of magazine capacity, fire rate, accuracy, and reload speed. An AR with an extended magazine can handle an entire horde wave without a reload.

S tier ARs are the ones with the best base magazine capacity and most manageable recoil patterns for sustained fire against groups.

A tier ARs are still excellent choices with slightly smaller magazines or higher recoil.

Key attachments: extended magazine, vertical grip, red dot sight.

Shotguns — S Tier for Close Quarters

Shotguns are more viable in Zombies than in PvP because of the close-quarters nature of zombie hordes approaching through doorways and staircases.

S tier shotguns have the best spread pattern and fastest cycle time. A shotgun that can eliminate a cluster and cycle fast enough for the next group is the ideal Zombies close-quarters tool.

The main tradeoff: Village’s open terrain makes them a liability outside of buildings.

The Crossbow — S Tier (Zombies Only)

The crossbow sits firmly in S tier for Zombies. Its silence is a genuine tactical advantage: you can eliminate special zombies without alerting the broader horde.

In the Village boss fight, the crossbow is arguably the best weapon in the game because its silence keeps the rest of the zombie population from joining the encounter.

The slow cycle time is the tradeoff, but Zombies rewards patience over spray-and-pray.

Pistols — A Tier as Secondary

A good pistol as a secondary weapon is essential in Zombies. When your primary is empty during a horde wave, a fast-draw pistol can save you.

Attachment Priorities for Zombies

1. Extended magazine or quick-release — whichever fits your playstyle
2. Vertical grip — recoil control during sustained bursts
3. Suppressor — silence is a survival tool in Zombies
4. Red dot sight — fast target acquisition against multiple threats
